South Sound Futbol Club

South Sound FC wishes all girls trying out for their high school teams the best of circumstances to reach your goals.  We know you will be working hard and dealing with much stress.  We applaud your efforts and look forward to watching you this fall season.

At the Sea Tac Cup August 22-24, the Girls 95 Red won their third tournament of the season defeating Eastside FC 3-1.  Congratulations Girls!!

Also at the Sea Tac Cup, the G96 Red just missed an opportunity to also claim three titles this year, losing to FC Alliance in the semi-finals on penalty kicks.  FC Alliance went on to win the tournament.

Another great weekend for South sound FC teams in local tournaments.

At the South Mason Kick Off, all 7 South Sound FC teams which entered the tournament advanced to the championship game, including both girls U11 teams.  This makes the third year in a row SSFC has won the GU11 division and 2nd time in 3 years the final included all SSFC teams.  Below, the GU11 teams demonstrate club unity and sportsmanship with a group photo after receiving their medals.

Get ready for the best SSFC Dinner Auction ever!  Italian food and live acoustic blues by Malcolm Clark will set the stage for an enjoyable evening of fun and entertainment as we get to know each other, share our favorite soccer stories and raise funds to support the club programs.

Get your players involved as player escorts, ball handlers, or some half time game action.  Contact Mike Taylor if you are interested in participating in any game activities.

Congratulations to Rebecca Schoales (G94 White) for being the only Washington State Youth to make the Girls 1995 Regional ODP Pool.

The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) identifies and develops the outstanding youth soccer players in the state and presents them to the Regional Olympic Development Program. Regional ODP players, in turn, become candidates for the National Youth Teams.   Learn More
