Congratulations to G95R and G96R on winning their second tournaments in a row at the Federal Way Blast Off.  Both played in the strongest tournament brackets, each going undefeated in route to their championships.  Each surrendered only one goal in 4 games while accumulating a record of 7-0 against PDL teams.

The South Sound FC B90 Red team, Avalanche, rolled on to the BU17/18 Federal Way Blastoff tournament this past weekend in Federal Way. The Avalanche won all 4 games in impressive fashion by beating the SH Revolution 5-0, FWU Storm 1-0, Tusk Titans 90 5-0, and in the championship match by beating the FWU Hurricanes 7-1.

Congratulations on a great tournament weekend which produced 3 champions, 2 finalists, and a semi-finalist.  Here is a summary of the results.

At the Sea Tac Cup August 22-24, the Girls 95 Red won their third tournament of the season defeating Eastside FC 3-1.  Congratulations Girls!!

Also at the Sea Tac Cup, the G96 Red just missed an opportunity to also claim three titles this year, losing to FC Alliance in the semi-finals on penalty kicks.  FC Alliance went on to win the tournament.

Another great weekend for South sound FC teams in local tournaments.

At the South Mason Kick Off, all 7 South Sound FC teams which entered the tournament advanced to the championship game, including both girls U11 teams.  This makes the third year in a row SSFC has won the GU11 division and 2nd time in 3 years the final included all SSFC teams.  Below, the GU11 teams demonstrate club unity and sportsmanship with a group photo after receiving their medals.
