Washington State Youth Soccer Legend, Frank Hall died Sunday November 23rd. Frank spent his life sharing the game he loved with the youth of Washington, including coaching for South Sound FC. While battling cancer for the last two years, Frank could still be found on sidelines of youth game until his last days.

This page is in honor of Frank Hall. Frank committed his life sharing the game he loved with the youth of Washington State. South Sound FC was priveleged with Frank's presence in his final years where Frank served as TCYSA president and SSFC coach.

South Sound FC has established an endowment fund in honor of Frank which is used to assist players in financial need to play competitive soccer. You can donate to the Frank Hall Endowment Fund by sending a check to:

“Frank Hall, a great servant of the game in Washington, passed away last evening. Frank, a hall of fame recipient, was a larger than life figure in youth soccer for more than forty years, having been one of the early organizers of youth soccer in the state.
With a quirky English sense of humor he was someone you never forgot. He had an extraordinary commitment to youth soccer, both as an administrator and as a coach. He earned the respect and appreciation of thousands of families through several generations in Washington for his steadfast commitment to the game and, in particular, the players who made it possible.

Frank has battled cancer for the past few years and was still helping to coach two young teams until earlier this month. “

Former youth soccer coach, administrator Frank Hall dies at 73

Frank Hall, who dedicated 47 years to youth soccer and was a key figure in building Washington State Youth Soccer Association, has died of cancer. He was 73.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 16 at Columbia Hall in Lacey.

In 1961, Hall coached the Tacoma Soccer Club Juniors, beginning his lifelong involvement with youth soccer as a coach, referee and administrator.
